Flutterby #203

This week at Flutterby is decorate the inside of your card.
This a variation of the gatefold card. On the inside of my card, I did decorate it but really not that much, I couldn't think of anything that would keep my card flat. On the outside, I cut it out with nestabilities, colored my image from
Digi Darla's with prisma colored pencils. I printed my image out twice, colored the butterfly, cut it out and layered it on my other butterfly. My labels on the inside and outside are from Stampin' Up I also used stamps and an embossing folder from SU.
(Oh, BTW, I was playing with MDS, to see if I could add all the pics together and it worked!)

Flutterby #202

First I would like to say WELCOME BACK DANNI!
Flutterby is all about friends this week, as long as you have your butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation! When we were kids our 1st best friends were usually our cousins! So I made this card boy vs girl card. (I guess it can be for twins also!)
This is a middle stairstep card and I used beautiful wings sizzix die from Stampin' Up. The image is from Digi Darla's, I printed twice and mirrored one, colored with prisma pencils. The pin wheels are also from SU

Lasting Memories #103

It's Sunday, that means it's a new challenge at Lasting Memories. We would love to see how you end your Summer! How about a photo shoot before the kiddos go back to school. I swiped this pic off my friends FB (of course I asked first!) Aren't they just ADORABLE! I used this wonderful sketch from Sketches in Thyme, we would love for you to use it but it is not mandatory.

This all digital using MDS. It was FUN making two different sides!

(I seem to be on a stickles kick!)  Also I embossed my blue CS with "Vintage Wallpaper" from SU in the Bigshot.
Popped up my frame chalked around the scalloped frame.

My brother & I are are playing in the sprinklers pretending that the drops are bullets! LOL! (In this case we wanted to get shot!) If you need more motivation to get you going, please feel free to use this sketch.
Here's my LO and it's all digital (MDS)
I made this LO a while back for the MDS contest (which I didn't even place) It just so happens to kind of match the beautiful sketch. I used the song lyrics from "The Pumped up Kids" for part of my title.

Chalk N Stock #4

Digi Darla is sponsoring Chalk N Stock and guess what? They're playing BINGO! Love this game! Here's your card!
I chose a Digi Darla image (Spring Planter)
I chose the top row horizontally, buttons, ribbon, chalk, adhesive & markers. Colored the greenery and the planter with copic markers, chalked my flowers and on top of my embossing and the "for you" tag Used three kinds of adhesive. You can see my ribbon and my buttons.
This embossing frame was sitting on my table begging to be used, so I cut out the center with a spellbinder and popped it up. Used the center for my tag. Fussy cut out my image and used a Martha Stewart border punch

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #152

Stampin' Sisters in Christ is a weekly challenge blog based on scripture. They have a new challenge every Sunday.
This week the scripture is:

SCRIPTURE:
"Do not let your heart be troubled;believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am , there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going."  John 14:1-6
The challenge is:

CHALLENGE:
Create a card that depicts something that says "home" to you.
Here is my card.
I made an easel card. Cut out my Digi Darla's image with nestabilities. Popped up the inside with pop dots, I chalked some sun ray's and grass for the background. colored my image with prisma pencils, used an eyelet border punch and for my label I used a punch from SU after I chalked it. The ants are sticker's.

Color Me Creative #49

Our challenge at Color Me Creative is to make a background for your main image!
I created some clouds with chalk and a spellbinders scallop die.
I printed it out twice and fussy cut out a mushroom and the dragonflies. Popped up the mushroom & layered the shroom. Got a little fussy with the dragonflies, colored one and placed over a mistake LOL! Layered the other one and fluffed up the wings. Colored my Digi Darla image with copic markers & added some stickles (stuck on stickles & the cloud tech.), Used a cttlebug embossing folder and a word window punch from SU.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #151

Stampin' Sisters in Christ is inspired by scripture and they have a new challenge every Sunday. This week the scripture is

SCRIPTURE:
“...as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord
is gracious.  I Peter 2:2&3
The challenge is
CHALLENGE:
Something "Baby" OR All (only) pastels

I made my card into a round easel card and I didn't have a round scallop circle in nestabilities so I punched out a  bunch of small circles and glued them behind my image. My cutsie little image is from Digi Darla's and I colored him with prisma pencils and applied some stickles in various places. The stickers and flowers are from my stash.

This is Lasting Memories' 100th challenge and this week we are playing BINGO! This is my 2nd LO! (I loved playing!) Here's your Bingo chart to follow which I made in MDS I might add!

Unlike my 1st one this one is all DIGITAL! I found the sketch on my friend Kimberly's blog but it has been modified quite a bit to suit my pics.

I used the 2nd row on the Bingo card (Buttons, Frames, Flourishes, borders and Glitter. Let me tell ya, it's not easy finding Glitter elements in digital but I found some glitter brads. I took these pics off my Sisters FB profile (I always ask first. This is my kinda shopping!)
Since this is a two page spread, I was wondering how to join the two together (I swear I'm a DING BAT,  well DUH, just make it into one photo! LOL) My blonde roots are showing, well they're gray now!

Doll Dress Colors

I found this Blog Through Jaluza from Portugal and it looks to me like, it's girlie and blingy like me. It's called Doll Dress Colors. I can't figure out how to use the translate, so I can only determine the challenge through the pics. I hope I am doing it right! Here's what I think is some lovely inspiration!
I picked a lovely gown from DigiDarla's!
Colored it with Copic Markers, Added a string of small rhinestones and I put them on the arms too! I colored the small  spots with Prisma Colored Pencils
I embossed my metallic paper with Vintage Wall Paper folder from Stampin' Up, my label is also from Stampin' Up. Bling is from my stash! Here's another view.
It's real hard to see in the picture but I added some stickles so it would shimmer!

My translator is on my sidebar on the very top.
