Stampin' Sisters in Christ #140

Every Sunday Stampin' Sisters in Christ has a new scripture for us to get inspired by and this week it is:

SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

The challenge is:

CHALLENGE:
Build up your card: by adding layers, paper tole, paper piecing, stacking flowers...you name it!!
They are being sponsored by Tami Mayberry!
Love that they have a hostess every week and this week it is Traci!
Here is my card.
I layered it up with my Cricut cartridge Florals Embellished.  I wanted to make an easel card so here's my idea.
Lots of layers! Popped up a few layers with pop dots. My sentiment is from the awesome Digi Darla's Designs. Of course I had to use some bling and I punched my sentiment out using SU label punch.

Paper Lovin' Gals #32

WOW! Look at this beautiful inspiration photo!
This is the first page of my family tree! It gave me this idea, I think I'll make an album just with my tree's!

I'm going to have to make quite a few pages but I'm quite pleased with 1st page!

Digi Darla's #12

Time for another challenge at Digi Darla's. This time we have a sketch which is Karen's 1st sketch, didn't she do a bang up job!
I made a gatefold card and planned to copy the sketch verbatim but when I got my clown on (which is an awesome image, don't you think!) I didn't have room (poor planning!) for my sentiment so I added it in the juggling balls! I embossed it with cuttlebug folders.

Lasting Memories #89

At Lasting Memories we're celebrating MOM! I chose to do a LO with my lovely MOM doing what she did for a living. COOL HUH!
I did follow the sketch and you can too if you want but you don't have to.
My LO is a hybrid. It's only part digital.
I printed it and laminated and added my quilling border around my pic (I think it looks like lace!) Also found these newspaper articles and they fit the sketch (I know my border is missing a jewel, I replaced it after I took the photo) This is how I remember my MOM, she passed away at 32. My swag (above the pic is from the TERRIFIC Digi Darla!
AND IF YOU ENTER YOU COULD WIN A $20 GC from a2z scrapbooking, Awesome Huh! More details at Lasting Memories and wish Elizabeth a Happy Happy Birthday and THANK HER FOR THIS AWESOME giveaway!  DON'T FORGET TO FOLLOW LASTING MEMORIES!

Digi Darla's #11

This week at Digi Darla's we have a lovely inspirational photo and we are being sponsored by Floppy Latte. What do you see in this photo.
I see embossing, flowers and the breezy color of blue. Here's my Digi Darla's card.
It's called "Pitcher of Flowers". I colored it with copics and cut it out, embossed with SU embossing folder in my BigShot, roughed up with an emery board and then chalked it. My sentiment is from MDS.
I made a LO with my Floppy Latte!
It's called "Graduation pendant". I painted it and removed the background in Paintbrush. This is my Uncle Coy in 1958. I did (what I think looks like embossing) and put that on some drawers and to add my blue in I did an overlay in blue and digitally inked in blue.

CMC #42

A couple of weeks ago, I entered a card here and I WON!!! It was the YELLOW challenge with Digi Darla's "PARROTS" and I made a popped up flower of Tiffany Doodles. This is one of the beautiful images I won from Tiffany Doodles. I love peacocks!
The challenge at Color Me Creative is to use copic markers or any other alcohol based marker's or colored pencil's and ...

Color Images that CELEBRATE something....birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, showers, weddings, etc....as long as your projects CELEBRATE some special event!

I find peacock's very colorful. I colored my peacock with Copic Markers and I made a frame out of a lace border punch from Stampin' Up, Of course I had to add some bling. I made my sentiment with MDS.
Check out more beautiful inspiration here.
