Lasting Memories challenge #62

We were challenged to create a LO of someone or something that you CHERISH and feel free to use this sketch to get started. I FELT FREE!

Shirley's Monster Mash Halloween bloghop wk12 & Paper Paper Lovin' Gals

I combined these two events because they were both halloween. I made three card fronts from MDS and I made a triple easel card. (Never made one of these and I really like it!This is week #12 of Shirley's monster mash bloghop :(:(:(! (Hey maybe she'll do Christmas!??)
At Paper Lovin' Gals, which is a new challenge blog (which I might add I WON an honorable Mention last week,COOL!) We were inspired by this pic.
 and...

It folds flat for mailing (I find this quite amazing)
Here are the rules with the exception of one (Shirley is cutting us some slack. It doesn't have to be 100% SU or even 80% SU!)
Mine was already 100% SU (LOL)

1. It has to be Halloween, card or 3D item.
2. It does not have to be 100% SU 80% is ok.... I broke this on this week so can you!
3. Yes using Retired is OK...
4. Use my Monster Mash Badge/Graphic in your post and a link back to my blog.
5. Add your card to the blog hop then put the code on your post.
6. You can enter as many times as you like, just has to be a new card and post.
The Blog Hop is every Monday for 12 weeks. I am picking a favorite every week for 12 weeks and then out of the 12 picking a Grand Prize winner. The Prize is $25.00 in new cool stuff from the new Holiday Mini. The winner will be announced on Halloween.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #112

This was a fun challenge! Stampin' Sisters in Christ is a challenge blog inspired by scripture and this week it is Eccles 3:1. Make a card that shows TIME like a clock, the sun, stars, calendar, season... I made an easel card with my big clock from MDS and then I cut it out. I also made a label with MDS and cut that out as well. The leaves are stickers from Michaels.

Scrapbookers Anonymous "C"

At Scrapbookers Anonymous we're doing our ABC's and we're on "C". I chose to do a LO with Picton Castle. My friend was gone for just about 9 months on a tall ship around the world.
(Do you recognize the guy in one of the small pics. It's Ollie from the movie "Enough" He was the crummy husband!)

Shirley's Monster Mash Halloween bloghop wk11

Can't believe it's already week no. 11! This has been so much fun! I found the pattern for my bat in one of my how to books a couple of years ago and saved it because I thought I would make it someday and someday has arrived! I printed double sided paper from MDS (used all my black ink but I didn't have any holloweenie paper from SU) The eyes are stickers from Michaels and they were the perfect size. I made a label with MDS and some door knobs. Of course I had to add some bling! HALLOWEEN-IE IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT BLING!

Here are the rules:

1. It has to be Halloween, card or 3D item.
2. It does not have to be 100% SU 80% is ok.
3. Yes using Retired is OK...
4. Use my Monster Mash Badge/Graphic in your post and a link back to my blog.(Shirley Pumpkin's blog)
5. Add your card to the blog hop then put the code on your post.
6. You can enter as many times as you like, just has to be a new card and post.

Lasting Memories challenge #61

At Lasting Memories we were asked to Bling up our LO's! RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! This is also a hybrid and then I added my own bling. I was going to add this photo but it didn't fit my LO!
FUNNY HUH!!!

SUO Challenge #30

Our challenge was to create something that will hold a treat! (Remember, use SU products only!) I made these items at my SU workshop on sat. The bag is the only thing that is not SU (hope that's OK) it's an envelope embossed with the big shot and then inked with whisper white. This cute spider is from SU and and it is punched out with SU punches. The other one holds a mini candy bar (this not SU! I don't think they make candy!) The paper is from Frightful Sight and the stamp is another cutsie stamp from the spooky bingo set. Don't you just love getting treats in this form!

A La Card Monkey Challenge Entry #79

It's Christmastime at A La Card Monkey and I just LOVE IT! It makes me get Christmas cards done. I'm happy, I am pleased with the way this card turned out! We used this sketch.
I am so happy MDS has, what I call pretty stamps as well as funny!
I like both, CAN YOU TELL?!

ColorLab challenge entry.#55

At ColorLab we were challenged to create something containing these 3 colors from SU. I used MDS (surprising huh! LOL!) These 3 colors work well together.
I didn't know what to do so I started playing and here's what I came up with.

Paper Lovin' Gal's #2

There's a new Blog in town and it's an anything blog. TWO MICHELE'S started it How fun is this! Here's the Blog Address: http://paperlovingals.blogspot.com/
This week it is create any kind of project inspired by this picture:
Mine was the color orange and pumpkins!
I got my adorable pic's from FB (one of my clients said "FaceTube" and I believe I like that better! LOL!) This is a hybrid LO. I first printed it on my digital software and then I had this gorgeous pumpkin stamp, I embossed and cut out and popped up. I couldn't resist adding a couple of glitter flowers and some bling.

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #111

Stampin' Sisters in Christ is a challenge blog inspired by scripture and this week it is MATT 11:28-30. We needed to create something doubling everything we used.
I must admit, I was challenged by this challenge! WHAT TO DO?! So, I got some inspiration from a DT (Traci) Although my card isn't as pretty as her's, it still looks alright. (I think!?)

Fashionable Stamping Challenges #6

At Fashionable Stamping we were challenged to dress to impress anything but a card so I chose a box. There was so much area to fill in, I was overwhelmed!  Although this was alot of work, I did enjoy creating it. I haven't seen any tea bag folding (I guess it's out there but I haven't run across any)  I stamped on my tea bag squares and then folded them. I also stamped some swirls in between my die cut flowers and bling.

This dragonfly is one of my favorite stamps! I stamped it, inked it and then cut it out.

Lasting Memories challenge #60

At Lasting Memories we were required to use any kind of dimension. (Awesome challenge Karen & Michele!) I still used my digital software and some of the items I printed twice and then cut out and popped them up. I used some stick-on letters and also a label, I won at scrapbookers Anonymous and I added some fiber and bling. Also did some journaling in my digital. (used a word punch from SU)
You know I like to add song lyrics to alot of my LO's and this one is "I've got the moves like Jagger". If you would like to hear the complete song it's on YouTube.

Flutterby Wednesday #175

Whew! I got in, in the nick of time! The challenge was to use your scraps so I created some tea bag folding which I haven't done in a long time.  My tea bag folding framed my butterfly.

I also embossed the paper with my cuttlebug and added some bling.

Shirley's Monster Mash Halloween bloghop wk10

This week, I decided to dress up my puppy for Halloween digitally as he would never let me do this. I thought I should dress him up and have him give the candy out but then there would be no candy! LOL!
No-one was very happy about dressing him up but I was bound and determined to.
It was all done with MDS.

A La Card Monkey Challenge Entry #78

Boy, for not really paying alot of attention to Halloween, I sure do like making these Halloween projects. Yes, it is another digital card from MDS.  To me Halloween is kinda SPOOKY and ELEGANT at the same time! We were challenged to use this sketch.

Scrapbookers Anonymous Oct. challenge

At Scrapbookers Anonymous we were to use die cuts on our LO's.
I did "skyscraper" with my cricut using "George and Basic Shapes" and used my cuttlebug for the photo strip. Some of the song lyrics (Like a Skyscrapper by Demi Lovato) I typed out on WORD. Yes, I know this is a sad memory but life is not always a bowl of cherries & we need to scrap some of that as well.
I took the large pic from the empire state building in about 1990 and the small pics were taken by my friend in 2005.

If you would like to hear the rest of the song, just type in Like a Skyscraper on YouTube. (It's kinda sad but a real pretty song.)

Shirley's Monster Mash Halloween bloghop wk9

This was such a fun card to make. I went online and found this witches shoe and of course I had to make my own alterations. I found a shoe that I liked in Su and made a pattern, then I found some DSP in MDS and printed that (frightful sight), cut out the shoe parts and glued them together. I used some purple hemlace to make lace on my vintage witches shoe. I made a tag with eat, drink and be scary and another spider tag with spooky things and put all that on a card I made and then chalked. OF COURSE I HAD TO ADD BLING!

A La Card Monkey Challenge Entry #77

It's all about falling leaves in Autumn at A La Card Monkey.
Found this great tri-fold card in MDS. I see it everytime I use MDS (which is alot) but I just pass it right up and this time I wanted to see what it was all about and it's COOL! Based on this card sketch, we were to make a card!

My card had 3 different sections, so I wasn't sure if it fit the challenge. The sketch had 3 different pieces of DP but it was on the front of the card and mine was across all 3 sections, but Terry said it would fit!

SUO Challenge #29

SUO is a SU "ONLY" challenge which means you can only use SU products.
I made a little leaf card because it's all about leaves. I have this "Day of Gratitude" stamp set in both MDS & clear stamps. I made my stamp large in MDS and printed it and then cut it out! (I wanted to make something a little different). Then I made a little tag from MDS and cut out that as well. I used a hodgepodge metal label, stamped out my sentiment, also from Day of Gratitude but with my clear stamps.

See, it opens like a card also! COOL!!! On the inside of my card, I punched out a label with a punch from SU (which is perfect for the 4 Frames set), stamped my image on that and punched out another label on vellum and stamped my sentiment on that (also from the Day of Gratitude).

Flutterby Wednesday #174 Anything goes

Flutterby challenge is open, but don't forget your butterfly, fairy or angel!
In my MDS they have a tri-fold card I wanted to see what it was all about and it is pretty COOL! This is the second card I created for flutterby but the first one was kinda boring, although it was pretty, it will stay in my stash.
Of course it is a digital card but MDS didn't have these Japanese stamps and I really wanted to use them so I stamped them and took a pic of them and added them as a pic. These are SU stamps and I love them!

I'm turning japaneza, I'm turning japaneza "oops wrong challenge!"

Stampin' Sisters in Christ #109 Gal. 5:22-23a

Fill up on the fruit of the Holy Spirit! Stampin' Sisters in Christ is a challenge blog which is inspired by scripture and this week it is Gal. 5:22-23a.  We are challenged to add fruit in our project. LOVE IT!
I made a card with fruit hanging off my cross! I found these little fruit sticker's a while back and got them cuz they were cute. (Not knowing what I would do with them.) I used my cuttlebug to cut out about 3 frame's and I chalked one of them. I used a stamp from the Day Of Gratitude stamp set from SU and cut it out.  Then I cut out a cross from "Crosses of Hope" stamp set, also from SU and used dimensional dots to pop it up. Also made my sentiment label with Word and punched it out with a frame punch from SU.

A La Card Monkey Challenge Entry #76

We were challenged to make a project with this sketch and I used the cute little monkeys (How perfect it was to find a monkey stamp in my stash) I got it from my friend and SU demonstrator, when she had her store. My friend used to ask me if I paid her rent?! Although I know I didn't pay her rent, I did buy alot of stuff from there but I still wanted more!

I colored my stamp with these pens I got from Sam's Then I chalked the edges after I cut it out with my cuttlebug. I also cut out the frame it sits on with cuttlebug and embossed it too. Just embossed the paper that, that sits on. Added ribbon and bling & wa-la!
