Challenge #44 - Scrapbook Pages That Recycle

These are pictures of my second grade buddy. I saw her at the renaissance in Houston in 2010 and I have this smile feature on my camera so of course I had to use it! (It's supposed to make you look like you're smiling a little but I turn it up all the way!LOL!!!)
I recycled this card and it reminded me of these puddin' faces! (you know like the TV commercial about jello pudding) I got a little pic from yahoo search. I don't like to throw anything away, so I recycled the plastic spool that my red-line tape was on and wrapped it with ribbon and put some stickers on it. Of course this is a hybrid LO with added bling, stickers, flowers and recycled items!

SAM-WILL WORK FOR FOOD!

Sam is going to weigh over 100 lbs. I wouldn't be upset if he weighed 200. He can have my food!

Lasting Memories challenge #43 Inspirational photo.

My puppy Sam got so worn out, he didn't even want his treat! (My puppy Sam gains about 3-5 lbs a week!)
I used all the colors in the inspirational photo and I gave Sam a duck toy. Of course I used mydigitalstudio.net from SU.

Lasting Memories challenge #43 Inspirational photo.

We used this picture  for whatever inspires you about the photo. (colors, content, whatever your heart desires.)
Here's what my heart desired.
My Grandfather was all about the "Z's". I was just learning how to spell and I was so proud that I could spell my last name. My teacher's were not happy with me because I thought every word (except my last name) had a "Z" in it. My grandfather said so!

I did my usual digital and added some bling and leave"z"!

Lasting Memories challenge #42 Create your own background.

This my entry for Lasting Memories "create your own background using punches."
I created all my punches digitally! I can now print 12x12! I figured it out myself with the help of my friend! "Who needs those computer geeks from Best Buy."

Sam is growing!

June challenge for Scrapbookers Anonymous

The challenge was to use your mini scraps (at least 3). I cut 3 in half to simulate a long strip and added some flowers and bling of'course! The corners on one of my pics are from Michael's. For the title I used some letter stickers and distressed my four frames set from SU and the same with the word (love) but the journaling was on WORD.

A scapbooking lesson

I gave my friends daughter her 1st scrapbooking lesson and don't you think she did GOOD?!

Lasting Memories challenge #42 Create your own background.

This my "create your own background" take.

I made a little envelope for a smilebox of Gwen's birthday party. I cut the circle out with the cricut and embossed the square with the cuttlebug. Of course I added some bling, letter stickers, some flowers, and some ribbon.
(BET YOU ALL THOUGHT I COULDN'T DO A REAL LO AND NOT DIGITAL. I'M JUST TOO LAZY TO GET UP & GET THINGS!)

For my background, I punched out mostly different sizes of squares.  Of course I had to add a little bit of bling.

PS I played with my digital studio for my Blog title. My friend, Jean did it so I had to!

Lasting Memories challenge #41 Sketch with a little bling.

This wandered into my driveway yesterday and I knew I needed to make a LO. Actually I was a little bit jealous of you girls that have kids! Well I have a baby now! (he's a little bit hairy but...)I'm still looking for his previous owner though.
Can you believe it, it's digital (AMAZING) But I did add quite a bit of bling. The sketch is on my previous post and I did follow it.

A new puppy.

Look what wandered into my driveway today and would not leave. I think someone dumped him! He's cute and I think he is going to be big. Got any sugesstions for a name?!

June challenge at Our vintage affair

Over at Our vintage affair, we were asked to do a LO of a Grandparent and to use this sketch. This is my take and I love vintage. (OK I love everything!)
I've had this photo for 30 + or - years and finally scrapped it! This is my Grandma & Grandpa in Chicago. That's how my brother, sister and I distinguished our two sets of Grandparents. My major LO is digital but of course I had to add things like bling and flowers!
The little frame is from SU. I had to distress a bit with chalking. The journaling was done with word. (The SU frame has a stamped image and then a punch)
This part was cool! I didn't place my lace paper on my blue cardstock correctly so I had to rip it off and the torn blue cardstock looked cool so I used it and distressed it with chalk! (I HATE throwing things away! LOL!)

Lasting Memories challenge #41 Sketch with a little bling.

We followed this sketch! Love sketches!

Maybe it should be sketch with alot of bling!

I love it, bling is right up my alley. (OK, lots of things are right up my alley!)
Between Hobby Lobby and Michael's, I got alot of bling. I did my usual digital and laminated my LO and added quite a bit of bling!
Oh, I can add my name in my digital software. (pretty cool huh)

June LO for Scrapbudz challenge blog

This is the first time I've entered at Scrapbudz so I think i'm doing it correctly. I believe it's a color challenge. Apricot Tart served with lashings of whipped cream! These colors look wonderful together! Most of this LO is digital except for the rose, bling and quilled roses.

 "

Here's the embossed rose sticker. I popped it up with pop dots.

My quilled roses were fun to make!
